V. Vakhitov gave a lecture at the 5th Kyiv Liberty Classes

“City is mostly about people (human capital). And, first of all, we should ensure that people will be happy in that city!”

Volodymyr Vakhitov, KSE Assistant Professor, presented main issues about what is a “city”, what is key components and key roles of the city in our life at the season closing of Kyiv Liberty Classes. He told students main aspects about birth of a “city”, difference between “city” and “village”, key advances and future prospects.

At Kyiv School of Economics Volodymyr Vakhitov teaches Urban and Regional Economics course, his scientific interests consist of agglomeration theory and production economy what is reflected in his recent publications and projects he was involved into.

At the end of the lecture KSE held a lottery among the students – as a result Illya Olabin won the certificate to take one KSE MA Program Course. Congratulations!
