USUBC-KSE CONFERENCE ON LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE REFORM took place at the Kyiv School of Economics

On 30 October USUBC-KSE CONFERENCE ON LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE REFORM and PRESENTATION OF THE USUBC WHITE PAPER ON LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE REFORM took place at the Kyiv School of Economics.

The second edition of the White Paper on LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE REFORM IN UKRAINE: STRATEGIC PRIORITIES /Business and Economic Sector/ – jointly developed by thirteen leading law firms on a pro-bono basis under the auspices of U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), was presented on 30 October at the second USUBC-KSE CONFERENCE ON LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE REFORM.

The conference was opened by Irina Paliashvili, Chair, USUBC Legal Committee and Managing Partner, RULG-Ukrainian Legal Group and prominent speakers: HE Geoffrey R. Pyatt, the United States Ambassador to Ukraine, Bohdan Vitvitsky, Former Federal Prosecutor, U.S. Department of Justice, New Jersey, USA, former Resident Legal Advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, HE Andreas von Beckerath, Ambassador of Sweden to Ukraine, HE Luc Jacobs,  Ambassador of Belgium to Ukraine, Dmytro Sologub, Acting Deputy Governor of the NBU, Oleksandr Danyliuk, Representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Morgan Williams, President, U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).

Conference continued by panels “Legal and Governance Reform” & “Non-Lawyer Points of View” which presented by law firms – contributors to the White Paper and Commentators, KSE, VoxUkraine, prominent members of the Business Community, Civic Society and International Institutions.
