- KSE MBA Tour to Zhytomyr
Competitiveness of a graduate of MBA program in the global market depends not only on the gained knowledge and skills during classes. His general competence depends on reflections of results of approbations of such instruments in practice and acquaintance with different business models, not only business model that a person sees daily at work.
To get acquainted with new business models in the regions and strengthen business relations, on October 17-18, Kyiv School of Economics hosted a visiting business-session of KSE MBA groups to Zhytomyr region.
The tour began with a meeting with the first Deputy Mayor of Zhytomyr Sergei Suhomlin. Incredible insight about the city, it’s development and future prospects are really impressive.
One of the key objectives of the MBA participants was to solve a real business case of the company “Rud” (“Zhytomyr butter”). Introduction with industrial capacity was followed by a lively communication with company employees to identify real problems that require solutions. The next day KSE MBA groups presented Case solutions to top management and the owner of “Rud” that with great gratitude absorbed some new ideas for the transformation and development of the company.
For quenching the honorary title of MBA, participants were tested through “fire, water and copper pipes”. Someone went to “plunge” into the water, the other – to get the fire with avital tool – a flint. Successfully completing these tasks, both teams praised each other with incendiary poems and songs 🙂 In memory of an autumn voyage participants received “warm” souvenirs – famous Zhytomyr socks!
