- Grand Opening of a New Academic Year
On August 30, 31 and September 1 KSE held welcoming three days pre-study activities that introduced newcoming students into the School.
During these three days students had welcoming orientation, case-study with the Platinum Bank, and inspiring regatta at the Kiev Racing Yacht Club to celebrate the beginning of studies.
On the first day KSE President Pavlo Sheremeta and the KSE faculty welcomed new students at the Kyiv School of Economics and gave them some insider tips on how to make the most of their time at the KSE. Pavlo Sheremeta: “Position yourself as a gateway, as your future worth is based not only on your knowledge, but on the breadth of your network as well.”
Within their work with 5 top manager of Platinum Bank Ukraine, students participated in the visual observation exercise with customers and non-customers, talked to the customers of the bank branches, car distributors, and to shoppers in the shopping malls to present in the end the possible strategies for the Platinum Bank’s further development. At the climax of an exclusive real life Platinum Bank Ukraine case study its’ CEO Greg Krasnov shared his management and leadership insights and his views on successful banking in Ukraine.
As one of the Kiev Racing Yacht Club shipmasters said: “A good start is a 50% of success. The more is yet to come!
