- George Logush became a Member of UVCA Supervisory Board
Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) has held a Supervisory Board election and after 2 rounds voting 9 members of Supervisory Board were elected:

- Torben Majgaard, Ciklum, (Associate Member)
- Michael Kharenko, Vostok Ventures, (Full Member VC)
- Bohdan Kupich, KM Core, (Full Member, PE)
- Erik Nayman, Capital Times, (Full Member, PE)
- Mark Watt, Noosphere Ventures, (Full Member, VC)
- George Logush, Kiev School of Economics, (Associate Member).
- Alexander Soroka, Startup.ua (Full Member, VC)
- Roman Simonov, Ukraine Partners (SigulerGuff), (Full Member, PE).
George Logush, President of Kyiv School of Economics, would bring to UVCA a considerable business and board experience, gained in Ukraine and US.
The Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association was formed last week with the aim of shaping “the future direction of the private equity industry by promoting investment opportunities in Ukraine, representing interests of private equity investors to policymakers and improving [the] investment and business climate in Ukraine.”
Founder Jaanika Merilo said that the group has 32 members of which 18 are private equity and venture capital firms and the remainder are firms or institutions associated with private equity. “The message is: Keep investing in Ukraine. It’s the best way to change perception,” said Ms. Merilo.
Members include AVentures, Ukrainian Partners and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
