Olga has solid expertise and a strong background in intellectual property (IP), information technology (IT) and data protection developed over the past 15 years. Within these areas of practice, she advises domestic and international companies, as well as IT start-ups.
Olga provides a full range of IP commercial advice and support to her clients, including licensing, franchising, outsourcing, and other IP-related agreements. As a transactional IP lawyer, she provides advice in relation to the protection and exploitation of a full range of IP rights, both in standalone transactions and as part of an acquisition, divestment or investment activity.
In addition to her IP expertise, she regularly deals with matters where technology meets privacy. Her practice covers the provision of detailed privacy advice on a range of matters including the development of new products and services, review and negotiation of contracts, drafting of policies and review of campaigns. She regularly advises Ukrainian companies on GDPR compliance, including international data transfers and local data protection compliance. Olga holds EU GDPR Practitioner certificate (No. 984163).
Olga acts as Co-Chair of the IT Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine since 2017.
Olga studied law at the Taras Shevchenko National University. She also holds Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the State Institute of Intellectual Property Law. In addition to her Ukrainian education, Olga has two EU Master’s degrees – in Intellectual Property Law from the Turin University Law School and WIPO Academy (Italy/Switzerland), and in International Business Law from the University of Rome “La Sapienza“.
