Policy Analysis: From Theory to Action

The program has been launched in May 2018. It was developed to incorporate the feedback from the short-term programs of the Public Policy and Governance Department, held in September 2017 – February 2018, as one of the main requests was for a more sustainable and full-fledged program as opposed to a series of relevant, but still not interconnected, three-day trainings.

34 participants are taking part in this program with 10, representing regions outside of Kyiv and about ⅓ representing the civil service and ⅓ representing civil society.

Curriculum of the program includes sessions on policy analysis (the essence of policy analysis; quantitative and qualitative methods of policy analysis; public policy monitoring and evaluation) and soft skills, adapted to the professional needs of policy analysis (leadership and responsibility; project management; communications).
The program is supported by the National Endowment for Democracy
