Analysis of the Ukrainian agri-food market for effective implementation of the UN World Food Programme (WFP)

The goal of the project is a timely and continuous analysis of food markets and food supply chains in Ukraine to identify and find possible ways to solve the problems of food shortages during a full-scale russian invasion.

As part of the project, the team of the Center for Food and Land Use Research (KSE Agrocenter) studied the possibilities and prospects of food production. Special attention was paid to the study of food supply routes and their changes after the start of the war. Based on the results of the work, the main problems in food supply chains were identified. In addition, an analysis of the supply and demand balances of food products by regions and large cities was carried out taking into account local characteristics.

The project was carried out with the support of the UN World Food Programme.
