Description

This course is for those who want to:

make decisions based on data analysis and present them clearly
increase the efficiency of your company by introducing new modern tools
learn modern business tools to be more competitive on the labor market

By the end of this course, students will:

Get familiar with the business, finance and economic applications of big data
Learn to apply R and RStudio software to data analytics problems
Study business intelligence and data visualization tools
Formulate solutions to practical examples and exercises
Create vivid visualizations in ggplot2 and interactive dashboards in Shiny

Instructor and author of the course – Maskym Obrizan:

Maksym Obrizan holds the position of Associate professor at KSE. He is the author of numerous academic publications in both national and foreign editions which are related to his scientific interests focused on Applied Health Economics and Macroeconomics. Maksym also serves as an Academic Director of KSE Business Education Department, whose main responsibility is to assure the quality of all degree programs at the Business Education Department.

Education: He received his PhD in Economics at the University of Iowa in 2010 having previously received a Master’s degree with honors in Economics at EERC at NaUKMA.

6 evening modules – from 18:30 till 21:30 (April 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27, June 3)
practical and interactive assignments during classes and between modules

all videos and course materials will be downloaded to the learning management system

Participants will receive certificates in case of the positive grade of the course.
