Description

The purpose of the course is to examine the methodology and tools of Design Thinking in the context of implementation of business and social projects. This course focuses on providing knowledge and a fundamental understanding of creativity, innovation and modern approaches to innovation (based on Artificial Intelligence). The course will cover the main models, principles, methods, cases and practical features of the implementation of innovative projects based on Design Thinking.

The Design Thinking is presented in the course through the approaches used at the Stanford University Hasso Platner d.School, IDEO, IBM, Apple, Google etc.

The goal of the course is to provide students with methodological and practical trainings, form skills of substantiated critical analysis of cases, programs and projects content, and skills of preparing relevant projects and analytical reviews of them.

The course will include lectures, case studies, mind mapping, business model canvas, fast prototyping methods and product design solutions testing, etc.
