Description
By February 3 students can apply to German-Ukrainian Summer School in Agricultural Economics Foundations of Agricultural Economics.
The summer school is aimed at Ukrainian doctoral candidates in the field of agricultural economics. The participants are supposed to learn to apply theoretical concepts of economics to evaluate agricultural policy measures. The students will learn how to justify and criticize agricultural policy interventions, the specifics of agricultural markets, the possibilities and limits of welfare analysis, and governance problems.
During the social program the Ukrainian Participants will get to know details and information about the German inner- and outer university research system in Agricultural studies. They will also get practical insights in selected companies of the agricultural and food sector in Saxony-Anhalt.
