KSE Insights “Accounting and Finance in Start-Ups”

Kyiv School of Economics held master class in “Accounting and Finance in Start-Ups” delivered by Andrei  Drobot, MBA, Honorary Doctor, on September 22 at KSE.

Participants had a chance to find out all about start-up realities for finance and accounting managers and why majority of start-ups are not fun!

We talked about:

  • Who are you  FFFs (Family, Fools) and whether you really need them;
  • How to minimize the investments needed to bear realistic minimum;
  • Why wishful thinking is a crime in start-up management.

About a speaker: 

Andrei Drobot MBA, Professor, Honorary Doctor of Business Administration

Prior to starting teaching, Andrei worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants for 3 years. Before that Andrei made a career from Researcher up to a Partner responsible for Banking/Investments/Financial Services Practice at Brain Source International. His teaching interests are in the areas of Investments, strategy, finance and monetary Policies. Currently, Andrei runs a private consulting practice in management consulting and investments field and is a Chief Financial Officer at CrossWorld Warranty.
