The Lviv City Council has announced the initiation of an open selection process to appoint a management company for the Syhnivka Industrial Park, a concept developed and presented in cooperation with Kyiv School of Economics.

The process of selecting the management company will continue until 18:00 on August 29, 2023. The disclosure and announcement of participants’ applications will take place on August 31 at 14:00 on the official page of the competition organizer for investment and projects by the Lviv City Council, which can be accessed at https://investinlviv.com/ 

Following the selection and the signing of an agreement with the management company, a one-year timeframe is allocated for the construction of the project’s first stage. The comprehensive project is planned to be executed over a period of up to 10 years.

The concept of the Syhnivka Industrial Park, developed in cooperation with  Kyiv School of Economics, involves the development of 5 communal land parcels covering a total area of 30 hectares within the industrial zone of Lviv, situated in the Zaliznychnyi district. The proposed duration for the creation of the park is 50 years.

The establishment of the industrial park is expected to generate at least 3,600 job opportunities. Preliminary assessments indicate that the activities at Syhnivka could potentially contribute UAH 250 million per year to the Lviv city budget and over UAH 430 million to the state budget.

The implementation of the industrial park’s concept is undertaken in partnership with the Lviv City Council, as part of the Good Governance Fund project “Revitalization of the Business Climate in Ukraine,” which is supported by the UK government (UK Aid). Abt Britain and Kyiv School of Economics are the project implementers.
