Maksym Skubenko

Biography

Maksym Skubenko is a editor of the fact-checking project VoxCheck and analyst on a live political TV-show “Countdown” at UA First. Prior to his analytical work, he worked as an auditor at OTP Bank in Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine. The main areas of audit were fraud investigations, manufacturing audit, financial audit and staff audit. 

Maksym is an experienced lecturer who has delivered by 2020 more than 60 lectures, trainings and workshops in areas of economic, misinformation and factcheck for various audiences: public officials, MPs, journalists and students. 

During his analytical work and factchecking, he focuses on such topics as misinformation, macroeconomics, land, gas and emigration. His comments on these topics are publishing by TV channels and the media.
