Biography
Joachim Bentz is a strategy consultant, executive advisor, and faculty member at Kyiv School of Economics. His teaching and advisory work bridge management theory with the realities of executive leadership and general management.
While Joachim’s professional roots are in international marketing, consumer centric product development and effective communication, his perspective extends far beyond the marketing function. He advises Ukrainian and international companies on marketing strategy, growth, and organizational transformation, working closely with founders, CEOs, and senior leadership teams.
A key focus of his consulting work is helping companies build effective marketing organizations — shaping structures, processes, roles, and capabilities that enable marketing to deliver sustainable business impact.
Joachim brings extensive senior executive and board-level experience from local and international companies, including roles such as Chief Marketing Officer and Business Intelligence Director. This experience strongly informs his teaching at KSE, which emphasizes holistic general management, cross-functional leadership, and strategic marketing.
Joachim received best-in-class education in Germany (Hamburg, School of Business Administration), Finnland (Helsinki, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences) and the USA (Boston, Harvard Business School).
