Horton Beebe-Center

Mr. Beebe-Center has been President of Eurasia Foundation since 2006. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Vice President for Projects and Development. Under Mr. Beebe-Center’s leadership, special projects such as the Economics Education and Research Consortium program and the Small Business Lending Program were launched. Mr. Beebe-Center joined Eurasia Foundation in 1993 and served as the first field officer, establishing offices throughout the Eurasia region and running the Moscow office for two years.

Prior to joining Eurasia Foundation, Mr. Beebe-Center worked for several years on US-Soviet projects ranging from intergovernmental technical exchanges to commercial joint ventures. Mr. Beebe-Center holds a bachelor’s degree in Soviet Studies from Brown University and a master’s degree in Russian Studies from Harvard University.
