In this research paper Trade+ experts analyzed Ukrainian exports by product groups and identified the most promising ones. Total undertrade for the Top-20 promising goods according to our trade attractiveness index  is $ 8.1 billion. US (7.2% of GDP in 2017), which is 4.5 times higher than Ukraine’s actual exports of these goods.

At the same time, according to the study, an increase in exports of these goods may increase employment in Ukraine by 208,000 people (1.2% of the economically active working age population in 2017).

The promising product groups, in particular, feature machinery and general equipment (gas turbines, ball bearings, pumps for liquids, electric motors and generators, electric heaters, etc.), furniture products (seats and their parts), manufacture of optical and measuring devices (pressure measuring devices), cameras, projectors, etc.), healthcare related products (vaccines, nucleic acids, medicines, bandages, cotton, vitamins, etc.).
