Online lecture “Introduction to global financial markets”

Description

Outline:

Since the beginning of the COVID-related crisis, debates about the role of financial markets are intensifying. The divergence between Wall Street and Main Street, adequacy and implications of monetary stimulus, the role of IMF, and other international organizations… all those questions have been and will be debated for years to come in many countries across the globe. In Ukraine, such debates are particularly important given the country’s weak integration into the global financial system. It will allow not only to appreciate the complexity and interconnectedness of the market universe but also to unwind some curious misconceptions.
