Most often the economy is associated with the concepts of “profit”, “demand” or “supply”. However, few people have the idea that economic science is also aimed at solving global problems of humanity.
During the event we will discuss:
▪ for which studies have been awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics over the past 10 years;
▪ whether the economy is really limited to studying ways of making a profit;
▪ whether economic research can help to solve important social problems;
▪ whether the scientific output can be converted into effective reforms.
