This seminar will start with an insight into the role of humanitarian work during armed conflict.
We will discuss the state of humanitarian assistance in 21st century, current trends, objectives and limitations. Livelihood analysis will be the core of the seminar when there will be interactive discussion over transformations of livelihood strategies of civilian populations during and after armed conflict. The seminar will conclude with understanding of the role of humanitarian assistance to properly assess, analyze and to respond to humanitarian crises applying minimum standards in the field of health, nutrition, protection and water and sanitation.
