Open lecture "How to find a private investor for your business"

Description

If you are an entrepreneur or you are planning to be the one, you’ll probably face the situation when you need more capital to grow or start your business.

Sometimes, the best option is to go to a bank. But usually, it is a problem for small business owners to get funding from large financial institutions.

So what is the solution? For some small business owners, working with private investors might be a smart move.

This is a topic to be discussed within the MBA program. But we do believe that this problem is essential and relevant for many more startup owners. That is why we’d like to invite you to join us.

The lecture “How to find a private investor for your business” will be held by Pavlo Matyusha – a professional with 10 years of high-level experience in Public Affairs with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement. Pavlo has got his Ph.D. at Kyiv National University and MBA at HEC Paris.

We’ll talk about:

  • Investment considerations and investors insights – what must be taken into account by the entrepreneur;
  • How to build a process of making investment decisions in order not to be a hostage to your own prejudices;
  • Practical experience of talking to investors, incubators and startup accelerators.
