Do people behave rational and how they make decisions? KSE students run experiments. Come to Open Minds Club and see what they found

Description

Do people always behave rationally when they make economic and financial decisions under uncertainty? How does “bounded rationality” interfere in this process?

KSE Students thoroughly studied these questions during their Behavioral Economics course. Then they went out into the field to run experiments on real people to confirm their theories. This is what they explored:

  • endowment and anchoring effects;
  • the impact of framing and halo effects on people’s decision making;
  • media bias;
  • irrationality of people in making decisions about consumption and savings.

Let’s get together for the last time in this course and see what they have found! Join us at Open Minds Club on April 25.
