Kyiv School of Economics invites to the second Open Minds Club. It is a series of public events where KSE students present projects, developed during their courses of study.
On March 9th second-year students of Economic Analysis program will debate on tax reform in Ukraine. This is their final project within the course in Public Economics by Hanna Vakhitova, KSE Assistant Professor. Students will analyze administrative costs and subjectivity of two tax reform proposals: government’s proposal (so called “Yaresko’s proposal”) and parliament’s proposal (so called “Yuzhanina’s proposal).
Debate format: Students worked in two groups; each group will present their arguments for or against tax proposals. The debates will be followed by a discussion where guests can give their comments and decide which arguments were better.
