Description
The purpose of the course is to help students understand what leadership is, what personal characteristics and types of behavior distinguish leaders, what skills and competencies need to develop leaders at the individual, team and organizational levels.
The course provides students with the opportunity to rethink their own leadership experience, to enrich it with proven international practice tools, and to train in the ability to analyze situations associated with leadership challenges, apply methods of persuasion, make team decisions, communicate effectively in one-to-one communication and with groups.
At the end of this course students will:
• know what leadership is and what personal qualities, competencies and skills are associated with successful leadership;
• better understand their own style, strengths and development areas in relation to leadership;
• be able to apply tools for leadership development to oneself or team.
