Hryhorii Shverk gave a lecture on “Building infosphere in transformation of the State conditions” topic at Kyiv School of Economics this week.
At the lecture students learned about development of the Ukrainian media space over the past 20 years and how to follow the standards of journalism under the pressure on the publishers. Mr. Hryhorii also told about the way business media work in Ukraine and shared the specifics of promoting laws in Verkhovna Rada, but also speaker emphasized that he does not consider his work into politics being his main virtue.
“Everyone has to take personal responsibility for his life. A person always has a choice. Everything that happens to us is the result of our decisions and our activity”, – that`s the way speaker motivated the students.
Hryhorii Shevrk is a Deputy Chairman of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting. He has considerable experience in publishing and previously he served as Vice President of the Ukrainian Media Holding. Mr. Hryhorii shares the values of Kyiv School of Economics and invests in high-quality education for talented youth. Hryhorii Shverk has supported the student at the Economic Analysis Program in 2018/2019 academic year and he will keep on supporting students next year.
