- The First Ukrainian International Bank has partnered with KSE for regional students
The First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB), in a new strategic partnership with the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), has begun to support the educational program “Talents from the Regions”.
This program provides 20 scholarships for the two-year Master’s Program in Economic Analysis at KSE for students from regions, as well as covering their living costs in Kyiv. The monthly stipend is in the amount of 1500 UAH.
“We believe that education is one of the main values of the modern world. Our goal is to provide students of regional Ukrainian higher education institutions (HEIs) with an international level education in one of the best schools in Central and Eastern Europe. Support for the “Talent from the Regions” program is our contribution to the development of the younger generation of Ukrainians, who are the future of our country, “said Sergey Chernenko, chairman of the FUIB Board.
How to enroll:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in any specialty (a major in economics is not required) of an HEI not located in Kyiv (if you graduate this year, it is enough to submit your transcript; a diploma can be submitted in July)
- Officially reside outside of Kyiv
- Submit documents in person to the Kyiv School of Economics or at apply.kse.org.ua by March 14th(list of required documents)
- On March 17th do well on the economics, mathematics, and English entrance exams and pass the interview (samples of entrance exams)
After graduation, students receive:
- Unique skills in economics, financial modeling and analysis, research skills, high level of analytical training for successful employment in positions both in the private and public sectors
- Thorough training, which paves the way for Ph.D. programs in leading western universities
- An opportunity to earn a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Houston
