KSE and Ukrposhta signed a Cooperation Agreement

23 May 2022

Kyiv School of Economics and JSC “Ukrposhta” signed a Cooperation Agreement to support educational, humanitarian and social projects. The development of a partnership between Ukrposhta and the School team will contribute to mutual development and growth, and will also become an important factor in helping Ukrainians during the war.

Transparency, sound governance and regular audits are the basis for the success of KSE Foundation. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Kyiv School of Economics has raised more than $25 million for the implementation of the School’s humanitarian projects.

Cooperation between KSE and Ukrposhta in the humanitarian sphere will have several main directions. The collected funds will be used to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, deliver humanitarian supplies, restore the destroyed educational infrastructure, especially in villages (exclusively educational institutions), repair post offices and help animal shelters. Benefactors can be both international partners, in particular, mails from other countries, and individuals who can join in the form of simple donations on the online platforms of Ukrposhta.

The first joint project of KSE and Ukrposhta in the humanitarian sphere will be the purchase of computers for a computer class in Borodianka. The total amount of UAH 450,000 for new computers has already been collected at the auction for the sale of the popular stamps series “Russian warship, go …!” on Prozorro.Sale.

“The stamp with the ship, issued by Ukrposhta in April, collected about UAH 15 million at official auctions, and interest still remains high. Moreover, there are many targeted charitable initiatives using this brand. We realized that we could use our products to raise funds for charity. There are many needs, so we have identified the main areas for ourselves: assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, restoration of educational infrastructure, in particular, providing communications, repairing educational institutions and our departments that were badly damaged by shelling, raising funds for organizing the delivery of humanitarian supplies and helping animal shelters,” said Ihor Smelianskyi, General Director of Ukrposhta.

We hope that the cooperation between Ukrposhta and Kyiv School of Economics will become a powerful impetus for launching new projects and initiatives to help our citizens and bring victory in the war against the Russian Federation as soon as possible.
