- KSE and the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine sign a memorandum of cooperation
The Kyiv School of Economics and the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine have signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen the practical exchange of experience in the audit field.
The document was signed by the KSE Rector Tymofii Brik and the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber Olha Pishchanska.
The memorandum envisages bilateral professional development of representatives of the Kyiv School of Economics and the Accounting Chamber, including further internships or employment of KSE students studying under the programs “Business Economics,” “Economics and Big Data,” and “Public Policy and Governance.”
“For the sake of sustainable institutional development, the Accounting Chamber should intensify cooperation with educational and scientific institutions. We also need to strengthen our staff with young professionals. I hope our cooperation will be a mutually beneficial project”, said Olha Pishchanska, the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber.
According to Tymofii Brik, the memorandum opens up new prospects for both parties: students of the Kyiv School of Economics will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in public administration, and our partners will engage a new generation of change-makers in reforming and strengthening the capacity of the Supreme Audit Institution of Ukraine.
“It is important for our students to undergo internships in state institutions as well because they gain direct experience of how the state and economy work and how management processes are organized”, summarized Tymofii Brik.
