The KSE Foundation, the Kyiv School of Economics charitable fund, with financial support from the Purposeful Ventures fund, has launched the DA VINCI UKRAINE grant program. This program aims to support organizations that prepare talented Ukrainian students to participate in national and international STEM Olympiads.

The primary goal of DA VINCI UKRAINE is to strengthen the education system in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by providing grants to organizations that:

1. Develop and implement programs to prepare students for STEM Olympiads;

2. Organize training camps and intensive courses for potential Olympiad participants;

3. Create innovative educational initiatives aimed at improving students’ knowledge and skills in STEM disciplines;

4. Offer additional classes and courses for in-depth study of subjects essential for success in Olympiads.

The program will provide grants of up to $60,000 USD to 10 organizations focused on developing STEM education for youth. The funding will support projects that organize training camps for Olympiad preparation, implement coaching and mentorship programs, develop specialized educational materials for Olympiads, and train teachers to work with gifted students. Additionally, the program will support innovative educational initiatives to raise students’ proficiency in STEM disciplines. The duration of projects will range from 6 to 24 months.

Registered nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and civil initiatives in Ukraine working in education and student preparation for STEM Olympiads are invited to apply for the program. Projects must target youth under 18, refrain from operating in temporarily occupied territories, and have no business ties with sanctioned countries such as Russia and Belarus.

Applications for the program are open until November 1, 2024. To apply, applicants must complete the application form on the KSE Foundation website and include a detailed project description, implementation strategy, and budget.
