KSE hosted round table on the ways to improve communication between authorities and journalists

On August 13, 2015 the Kyiv School of Economics hosted round table on the topic “How to guarantee the highest value of communication and mutual understanding between authorities (economy block) and journalists”.

The meeting brought together leaders and representatives of communication departments of state institutions and representatives of media. Igor Shumylo, adviser to KSE President, moderated the discussion.

Participants discussed the following topics:

  examples of quality communication (information products, public events)
• To which
  extent the goals, tasks and actions of authorities and its institutions are
  clear and understandable for journalists?
• Communication
  problems which representatives of authorities see and their recommendations for
  journalists
• Demand for educational
  programs/schools of economics journalism
• What should
  be the action plan for authorities and media community?
