KSE Scientific Workshop on “Enhancing Teaching and Learning Experience:
Modern Techniques, Resources, Grants”

The importance of continuous professional development is now widely recognized. Kyiv School of Economics is honored to invite faculty from all Ukrainian universities in the field of economic and technical sciences who would like to grow professionally and network with their counterparts in the field to join its Scientific Workshop devoted to “Enhancing Teaching and Learning Experience: Modern Techniques, Resources, Grants” to be held in Kyiv on Friday, December 13, 2013.

The Workshop will discuss:

• new techniques in teaching and learning
• practical examples of using case studies in teaching economic disciplines
• available online databases to do research
• mastery of grant application and available grants
• networking programs enhancing cooperation with colleagues

 The Workshop aims to help:

• improve your professional knowledge and skills
• improve access to the latest research findings in your field
• communicate with experts in higher education

As a result, the participants of this Workshop will be able to strategise and apply concrete approaches in their own teaching and research practices.

Working Language is Ukrainian. Registration Form can be found at the end of this call. There is no participation fee. All Workshop materials and a coffee break are provided free of charge. Transportation and accommodation costs are not covered.

KSE Scientific Workshop participants will also have a unique opportunity to attend the CIS Research Network Semi-Annual Workshop on December 14-16, 2013 which gathers EERC grant competition finalists from the CIS region, as well as experts from all over the globe. During networking with grantees and those applying for grants, KSE Scientific Workshop participants will see from inside how such kind of competitions work and will gain valuable experience and contacts for the future. Working language of the CIS Research Network Semi-Annual Workshop is English. Pre-registration for this Workshop is required, as the number of outside participants is limited.
