Olena Nizalova received a Fellowship from The Erste Foundation

We are glad to inform that KSE Assistant Professor and Senior Economist Olena Nizalova was awarded with The Erste Foundation Fellowship for Social Research for her project  “Inequality in Working Conditions: The Ukrainian Experience”.

According to the fellowship competition, 26 research projects to be developed by academics and professionals from 9 CEE countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic,  Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine.

On April 17, 2013, Olena participated in the meeting with other ERSTE fellows in Vienna, Austria, to discuss the potential and challenges in answering their research questions.

The Erste Foundation fellowship programme started in 2008. The topic of the 2013-2014 programme is ‘Labour Markets and Employment in CEE’. Erste Foundation closely cooperates with the World Demographic & Ageing Forum at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
