Paper by KSE Assistant professor Oleksandr Shepotylo (joint with David G. Tarr) on “Impact of WTO Accession on the Bound and Applied Tariff Rates of Russia” has been accepted for publication in Eastern European Economics journal.

This paper assesses how the tariff structure of the Russian Federation will change as a result of the phased implementation of its World Trade Organization commitments between 2012 and 2020 and how it has changed as a result of its agreement to participate in a Customs Union with Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Eastern European Economics
publishes original research on the newly emerging economies of Central and Eastern Europe, with coverage of the ongoing processes of transition to market economics in different countries, their integration into the broader European and global economies, and the ramifications of the 2008-9 financial crisis.
