KEI at KSE presented an Interactive Atlas of Economic Development of Ukraine

August 30, 2012

We are pleased to inform you that Kyiv Economics Institute (KEI) at the Kyiv School of Economics together with its’ media partner “Korrespondent.net” and “USAID Local Investment and National Competitiveness (LINC) Project” presented an interactive Atlas of investment attractiveness and economic development of Ukrainian regions.

The Atlas of investment attractiveness and economic development of Ukraine is a free resource. It gives the Internet users an opportunity to get the most detailed and full information on the economic development of the Ukrainian regions that is available on the Internet today.

The Atlas is based on the data of four levels: state, regional, district and local levels. The major factors of analysis were foreign investment, capital investment, average wage, export, proximity to borders and quantity and quality of the region’s resources. The Atlas allows comparing the elements of one level, e.g. region A and region B, as well as the elements of different levels, i.e. – region A and district B. Besides, there is an opportunity to see the dynamics of the certain element according to some parameters of the previous periods of time.

The Atlas is a unique instrument as there are no equivalents of such detailed and complete data bases in the Ukrainian Internet segment today that may be used by potential investors, state representatives, scientific and business community.
