Biography
Vira Usyk – Doctor of Economics, professor, author of scientific research on economics, the author of academic research in economics and youth policy and has participated in projects supported by IOM, GIZ, USAID, the U.S. Embassy, ChildFund Deutschland, the EU, UNDP, the East Europe Foundation, the British Council, the Council of Europe, and others.
Vira Usyk was a Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Scholarship Holder (2016-2018) and a laureate of the 2024 Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Named Scholarship Competition for Young Scientists (Doctors of Science).
She has taken part in the research project “Young Scholars in Wartime Ukraine” (The University of Hong Kong), the project “Innovative University and Leadership: Quality Assurance and Internationalization” (University of Warsaw, Poland), and the project “Implementing a University Strategy for Academic Integrity” within the UK–Ukraine University Leadership Development Programme by the British Council.
Vira Usyk is a co-head of a young scholars’ research project and co-manager of an Erasmus+ KA2 capacity-building project in the field of youth.
She is the founder of the NGOs Youth Agents of Change and the Association of Youth Workers of Ukraine, and a board member of the NGO Youth Platform.
