Vasyl Kvartiuk is a specialist in development economics and agriculture with over 12 years of experience in research, technical consulting, and policy dialogue related to economic development, local governance, and policy.
He conducts research on land relations, political economy, and local development in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Vasyl’s experience includes leading international research projects, publishing in top scientific journals, and providing consultations. He has worked in institutional settings in Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran, and Ukraine. Vasyl earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Halle/Wittenberg in Germany in 2014 and a Master’s degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Freiburg, Germany.
