Sergiy Nikolaychuk

Distinguished Professor of Practice at the Kyiv School of Economics, PhD, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Biography

Sergiy Nikolaychuk is a Distinguished Professor of Practice at the Kyiv School of Economics, PhD. Since July 2021, he has been serving as Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine. 

He holds a master’s degree in economics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Later, he successfully defended his dissertation on “Modeling the Transmission Mechanism of Monetary Policy in Ukraine” and received a PhD in Economics.

Previously, he held the positions of Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, Director of the Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department of the NBU, and headed the Macroeconomic Research Department of the ICU Investment Group. 

Sergiy Nikolaychuk has had a longstanding collaboration with the Kyiv School of Economics, and in April 2020, he joined KSE as a research fellow. Additionally, he serves as professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
