Macroeconomic Radar

Every month, starting from June 2020, Kyiv School of Economics publishes a review of forecasts of key macroeconomic indicators of Ukraine for the coming years, including an analysis of factors that determine them. The reviews are based on consensus forecasts of “private” organizations (investment and commercial banks, think tanks) prepared by the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture, FocusEconomics, Bloomberg, and Reuters, as well as, on “official” forecasts (International Monetary Fund, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, etc.).

Macroeconomic Radar provides an overview of the following indicators:

  • state of the economy and GDP forecast;
  • inflation;
  • key interest rate;
  • budget execution;
  • current account;
  • international reserves;
  • exchange rate.
