Description
This course will examine some of the implications of emerging technologies, with an emphasis on data collection, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
We will consider a range of possible problems arising from the development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence. We will look at the existing legal framework and ethical principles and discuss ways of developing new legal framework for use and governance of AI and data analytics.
We will cover a range of possible challenges arising from AI and how they can be addressed and remedied by the policy makers.
We will also study the economic and political effects that AI and technological innovation could have on society.
