Vacancy: Manager of Public Policy and Governance Projects

The Public Policy and Governance Department has been established in 2016 and is headed by Inna Sovsun, Vice-President of KSE and former First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine. Department provides professional education for civil servants and civil society representatives, conducts policy research and contributes its expertise to public administration reform implementation.
Position Summary: Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating and implementing different initiatives and projects of the Department ensuring sustainable relations with donors and adherence to quality standards.
Your role will include:
Coordination of projects’ activities and supervision of its implementation by project team.
Development and implementation of new projects and educational programs of the Department.
Grant applications submission and preparation of related materials.
Organizational and logistical support of projects’ activities.
Control of related documentation (contracts, invoices and others).
Coordination of events of the Department.
Maintenance of successful relationships with partners.
Customer relationship building and assistance in clients’ problem-solving.
Basic website and social media content management.
What are we looking for:
Initiative and high level of responsibility in work
Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Fluent Ukrainian and upper-intermediate English (oral and written)
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills
Preference will be given to candidates who have expertise in education and/or prior leadership and managerial experience.
