The American Society of International Law is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational membership organization founded in 1906 with the purpose of fostering the study of international law and promoting the establishment of international relations on the basis of law and justice. The Society publishes the American Journal of International Law, which is the leading peer-reviewed journal in the world on this subject. Academic partners of the American Society of International Law include dozens of universities from all over the world, and this year, several Ukrainian universities joined them. Among them is KSE.
“We sincerely thank the American Society of International Law for offering our university the Academic Partnership. This will open up new opportunities for KSE’s teachers and students to study international law and seek solutions that may be important for Ukraine during times of war,” said Timofiy Brik, rector of the Kyiv School of Economics.
Recently, KSE has held an event for its students and graduates with the participation of Michael D. Cooper, Executive Director and Executive Vice President of the American Society of International Law.
KSE expresses special gratitude to Michael D. Cooper, the Executive Director of the American Society of International Law, and to our colleague Charles T. Kotuby, a member of the Society, for opening up the new opportunities for our university.
