KSE Institute Strengthens Its Leadership Team with Three Vice Presidents

KSE Institute is expanding its senior management and appointing Vice Presidents for three directions: business engagement, investment ecosystem, macroeconomics and public finance.

Nataliia Shapoval, President of the KSE Institute, and Vladyslava Hrudova, Executive Director, are responsible for the Institute’s strategic development and overall management. Benjamin Hilgenstock serves as Director of the Center for Geoeconomics and Resilience, Yuliia Pavytska is the Head of the Sanctions Hub, Dmytro Krukovets is the head of the macroeconomic analysis division and Anna Vlasyuk leads International Law and Policy Research.

Maksym Fedoseienko — VP for Business Engagement. Previously — Director of Strategic Projects at KSE Institute. Will build partnerships with the private sector and engage business leaders as partners of the Institute. Along with him, the development of the direction will be supported by Roman Konik, Vitalii Sova, Olena Siumak, Kateryna Muzychenko, Tetiana Dembynska, and Maryna Rozhkova.

Olga Slyvynska — VP for International Relations and Development Finance. Previously — Director of International Relations, coordinating donor partnerships. Will lead the development of partnerships with international financial institutions and investors active in Ukraine’s recovery. Along with her, the development of the direction will be supported by her deputy Angeliki Varela, as well as Vitalii Dyshlovyi, who will be responsible for insurance.

Yuliya Markuts — VP for Macro and Public Finance. Previously headed the Center for Public Finance and Governance at KSE Institute. Will develop the Institute’s analytical products — with a focus on AI-driven tools to accelerate and scale research production. Along with her, the development of the direction will be supported by experts Vladyslav Ierusalymov, Olha Konyuchenko, Viktoriia Klimchuk, Dmytro Andriienko, and Vladyslav Shymanskyi.

KSE Institute is the think tank of the Kyiv School of Economics. Over 100 experts conduct data-driven research across sanctions policy, damage assessment and recovery scenarios, macroeconomics and public finance, investment and private sector support, agriculture, procurement policy, and European integration. Partners include the World Bank, the European Commission, G7 governments, and the governments of Denmark, Sweden, and other countries.
