KSE Institute launches educational platform to help entrepreneurs access financing more effectively
11 July 2025
Educational resources on business financing, tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, are now available on the KSE Institute’s platform, developed in partnership with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and supported by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Entrepreneurs can access free video lectures, presentations, analytical materials, and real-world case studies to gain a clearer understanding of the funding tools and programs available to Ukrainian businesses.
The online knowledge base is part of a large-scale educational and mentoring program for small and medium-sized businesses. The program aims to strengthen companies’ investment readiness, provide tools for effective collaboration with banks, donors, and other funding sources, and promote a sustainable financial culture within the entrepreneurial community.
The platform offers access to:
• Video recordings from the conference “Investment Readiness of SMEs: Partnerships for Sustainable Development”;
• Presentations from financial institutions and companies that provide support and financing tools for SMEs;
• A practical guide on securing funding, along with analytical materials;
• Case studies of entrepreneurs who have successfully attracted funding and share their experiences;
• A self-assessment test to evaluate company’s readiness for funding;
• An application form to request mentorship support;
• Chat for online communication among training participants.
The website also features a calendar of regional business training sessions, where participants can register for upcoming events. Around 500 businesses will have the opportunity to attend free in-person trainings and learn more about the pathways and specific steps for securing funding. Additionally, participants will be able to engage with leading financial experts from the Ukrainian market and get answers to their questions.
KSE Institute focuses on fostering dialogue between businesses, banks, and other financial market players. That’s why companies are encouraged to take a short survey about the challenges and needs they face in accessing financing. The results will inform an analytical report with recommendations for the government, financial institutions, international partners, and entrepreneurs themselves. These expert insights will help improve existing support programs and shape new ones that better address the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.
We invite entrepreneurs to complete the survey — your input will contribute to creating a more accessible and effective financial environment for businesses in Ukraine.
