Kyiv School of Economics and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, with support from the UK government, will hold the event “Ukraine Investment Framework: Exploring Financing Options for Business.” The event will feature the “Presentation of the Handbook detailing financing programmes from Ukrainian banks in collaboration with international financial organisations under the Ukraine Facility.

During the event, Ukrainian and international companies operating in Ukraine will receive practical recommendations on attracting additional funding through the Ukraine Investment Framework, the second pillar of the Ukraine Facility programme by the European Union.

The event ‘Ukraine Investment Framework: Exploring Financing Options for Business’ is organised as part of the Good Governance Fund Project “Economic Hub: Strengthening Macroeconomic Stability Through Robust Public Financial Management”, funded by UK International Development. The project delivery partners are Abt Global and Kyiv School of Economics.

Participants will learn about the programmes available to businesses through international financial institutions and partner banks under Phase 1 of the Ukraine Investment Framework, including the sectors and companies they support and how to apply for loans, grants, and technical assistance.

Additionally, during the event, we will introduce a digital database of investment projects, designed to better understand business needs and facilitate the creation of tailored funding lists for international financial institutions (IFIs) and development finance institutions (DFIs).

The event will feature representatives from the Ukrainian government, including Deputy Minister of Economy Volodymyr Kuzyo, as well as officials from the European Commission, international financial institutions, Ukrainian partner banks involved in the first phase of UIF, and representatives from Ukrainian businesses and business associations.

 

The event will be moderated by Nataliia Shapoval, Head of KSE Institute.
