Tymofiy Brik, KSE Professor, was awarded a prize "The best young sociologist of the year" by the Institute of Sociology NAS of Ukraine. The Sociological Association of Ukraine and Nataliia Panina Sociological Center held the contest "Best Young Sociologist of the Year – 2018" during the 12 years in a row.
Receiving the award "The Best Young Sociologist of the Year" from the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has become an important accomplishment of this year for Tymofiy Brik:
"Then I was a student, I worked at the Institute of Sociology (Ed.), where I cooked sandwiches and filled out working timesheets for the Institute. I was fortunate to participate in the organization of the first Panin's readings ( presentation of research papers - ed.). I saw how important it was for Yevhen Golovakhа (a sociologist, husband Natalia Panina and founder of the prize - ed.) and his colleagues. And then it was inspired me to dream about taking part in the competition. For this, I should write a good research that I would not embarrassed to share with experienced colleagues. The idea of the competition is to motivate young scientists to write articles. This idea workes. I went to study in Europe and came back with an article".
