Ukraine note has been degraded. Consequences of three months’ Maydan Revolution?

First of all, the country supported an economic crises before the revolution. Because of the former government and his political views. They’ve taken all the resources and shared it between themselves and there families. Consequences: since no structural reforms has been taken, today we have a huge problem of corruption. This is the main economic problem we have in our country. Because of this situation, there is no economic rising. That’s why, also, investments decreased.

Ukraine increase is almost zéro. Why?

There is no economic rising for one year and a half. Last year, studies show that economic rising is almost zéro. In 2012, it was 0.12%. And the year before, 0,7%. We have a constant problem to make the budget balanced. In 2013, we had 8,9% deficit. And this year, we forecast between 6,5 – 7%.

But Ukraine received aids…

The former government has never fixed a calendar in order to make the debt decreasing. So, impossible to find a way out in that condition/ EU suggests us to give money for reforms. But Russia proposed more and directly put the money in Ukrainian politic actors’ pocket.

EU should give more money?

I Think, we should better ask the IMF. Because World Bank and EU won’t make a decision without the IMF agreement. Maybe, the political situation will give us new keys for that.
