Olena Nizalova participates in the 22nd European Workshop on Econometrics and Health Economics

KSE Assistant Professor and Senior Economist Olena Nizalova participates in the 22nd European Workshop on Econometrics and Health Economics on 4-7 September 2013, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

At the Workshop Olena is discussing a paper on the insurance of calorie intakes against income shocks during the transition period in Russia.

This Workshop is a very high profile event where a selected group of researchers discusses the new developments in the field. It is held within the framework of the series of alike workshops that provide a forum for the development and dissemination of applications of econometrics and other quantitative approaches in health economics. Each year a selection of papers from the Workshop is published in a special issue of Health Economics.
