- Vacancy of Research Associate in Applied Economics Research
The Kyiv Economics Institute (KEI) at Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) currently is seeking for a Research Associate in Applied Economics Research. KEI at KSE offers an excellent opportunity to work and develop professionally in close contact with researchers in the most successful economics research groups in Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- Under the direct supervision of the KEI Senior Economists, the Associate will be involved in the impact evaluation of various governmental and private programs on population and economy as a whole
- Other tasks include: developing own research agenda, data analysis, writing research reports and grant applications, presenting at the conferences, assisting in various other research related tasks.
Requirements:
- Master degree in Economics
- Advanced skills in quantitative analysis:
- Excellent knowledge in econometrics/statistics and good mastery of data management
- Good capacity in data analysis using software packages such as STATA or SAS
- Good knowledge of WORD, Excel, ACCESS and web publication software
- Capacity to work under tight schedule and meet the deadlines
- Readiness to travel within Ukraine and internationally
- Knowledge of impact evaluation methods is a plus (but strong willingness to learn may be as good)
- Excellent knowledge of English and Ukrainian (good working knowledge of Russian would be an advantage).
