This report represents an audit of environmental and social practices (ESA) applied during agricultural production in Ukraine in 2023. It was prepared for the project “Agricultural Recovery Emergency Support” (ARISE) financed by the World Bank and aims to preserve agricultural production in Ukraine.

Project Implementation

The project was implemented in several stages:

(1) KSE Agrocenter researchers surveyed agricultural producers who received support under the 5-7-9 affordable credit program in 2023 and those who did not apply for this program or did not receive funding;

(2) cleaned and analyzed the data;

(3) developed an analytical report with relevant conclusions regarding the social and environmental responsibility of agricultural producers;

(4) assessed the level of compliance with legislation in the fields of ecology and workers’ rights protection, compliance with global production standards, as well as factors affecting compliance with environmental and social standards.Project partners: VKURSI, Adelina”
