Olena Bilan has over ten years of experience in macroeconomic analysis and forecasting. In 2006, Olena joined Dragon Capital as an economist and fixed income analyst. In 2009, she was appointed Chief Economist, responsible for macroeconomic forecasting and analysis of economic developments, credit and currency markets in Ukraine.

Olena was recognized as one of the top three analysts of the Ukrainian financial market in the Thomson Reuters Extel survey of global institutional investors in 2013 and 2014. Prior to Dragon Capital, Olena worked at IER, a leading Ukrainian think tank, and the SigmaBleyzer investment fund. In 2002, Olena received a Master’s degree in International Economics from the EERC program at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (now Kyiv School of Economics) and a degree in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.
